Rishao is a singer-songwriter based in Japan.
She started playing the piano at a young age and began playing percussion in junior high. She majored in percussion at a music university, studying classical and contemporary music. Incorporating digital percussion into her performance style, she participated in a man-powered techno band and supported as a percussionist. Now based in Nagoya, she focuses on solo live performances and music production. Her music, rooted in her broad musical background, expresses a deep love for nameless phenomena and the world they inhabit, and a quest for personal cultural uniqueness. She has gained acclaim for her multicultural electro-pop sound.

幼少期よりピアノ、中学から打楽器を始める。音楽大学で打楽器を専攻し、クラシックや現代音楽を学ぶ。
パフォーマンススタイルにデジタルパーカッションを取り入れ、人力テクノバンドでの活動や打楽器奏者としてサポート活動などをした後、現在は名古屋を拠点にソロライブや楽曲制作を行う。
名を持たぬ現象とそれを内在する世界への愛と、個人の文化的独自性の探求を基に音楽という形で表現を重ね、広い音楽ルーツをベースとした多文化的なエレクトロ・ポップサウンドで定評を得る。
